ANNIE ELLEN LECLAIR (nee MCMULLIN) Peacefully on December 4, 2005, Annie, age 91, passed away at Lion's Personal Care Home. Annie was predeceased by her husband Eddie in 1992; son Jerry in 1987; her parents, Elizabeth and William McMullin; and her three brothers, Jim, William and Herb. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Eddie of Langley, BC, grandson Jay (Jodi) Pauley and great-grandson Carson, sister-in-law Marge McMullin, many nieces and nephews, especially niece Joyce Hay. Annie was born in Winnipeg and lived most of her life in Winnipeg and St. Boniface. During the war, she resided in Calgary and Vancouver to be with her husband who was stationed there with the R.C.A.F. In 1994 she moved into Lion's Manor and the last years resided at Lion's Personal Care Home. Annie was a stay-at-home mom until her sons were in high school. She then worked for several years with Strong Jewellers and later was employed by the Province of Manitoba at the Manitoba Health Services office until her retirement at age 65. During the twenties she was the pianist for the Kitty Krop Dance Troupe which performed at the Walker Theatre and other Winnipeg venues. The family wishes to thank the staff of Lion's Personal Care Home for their excellent care of Annie during her last few years. Also, thanks to staff and friends in Lion's Manor who assisted her when she lived in the Manor. Flowers are gratefully declined, but, if friends desire, donations may be made in memory of Annie, to a charity of their choice. Funeral service with Rev. Walter Cowan officiating to be held on Friday, December 9 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. THOMSON IN THE PARK FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY 1291 MCGILLIVRAY BLVD.
